The Senior Living space is ripe for disruption.
The Senior Living space is ripe for disruption.
Hundreds of thousands of critical workers are making life and healthcare decisions for millions of seniors each and every day.
Paper, pens, and Excel spreadsheets are still used in some capacity by the majority of the senior living industry, resulting in siloed, meaningless data.
Antiquated, clunky medical-focused software arose out of the skilled nursing industry and doesn’t address the broader needs of the private pay senior living market.
Legacy systems are closed, with no open APIs to easily integrate external data, let alone make sense of it all.
Fractionalized offerings fail to present a holistic understanding of Residents, Associates (staff) and Communities.

Calling it game-changing software
is a serious understatement.
The ultimate in customer loyalty – software that pays you to use it.
yiayia sits on the revenue, rather than the expense, side of the ledger. Our unique offering for residents, their friends and families, provides unparalleled transparency – not to mention an unbeatable sales tool.
Access is offered at $10 per resident per month. yiayia seamlessly collects the funds monthly when processing the resident’s ACH on behalf of the community. 100% of those funds are then passed through to the Community (our customer) – offsetting the cost of the software and resulting in a net gain in revenue.

You might be wondering whether yiayia truly needs to be decentralized. The simple truth is that most businesses are being disrupted by blockchain technology as you read this. It’s changing the way we share and use data. yiayia touches several industries where this is especially true – healthcare, identity, finance, and document control (which is essentially data verification). As we look to establish ourselves as a leader in remote transparency and set new standards in remote auditing, these concepts are key.
In short, any tech company building in the industries that we touch better be incorporating blockchain or they’re going to have a lot of re-architecting to do in the future.

Let’s face it, the best predictor of future success is past success.
Our operational team is lead by a successful founder with multiple exits, having grown businesses from inception to thousands of employees strong. Now, as our mature and focused team prepares to take our software to market, we’re conducting our first-ever offering to grow our war chest.
As co-Founder and CEO, Trehan is responsible for overall management of the group’s synergistic technology and commercial real estate portfolio. An experienced operator, he specializes in building high-performing, efficient teams. Trehan is a graduate of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, and spent nine years in public accounting at Arthur Andersen and Price Waterhouse before becoming an entrepreneur.
A veteran of the healthcare industry, Trehan has founded and successfully exited healthcare service businesses in the United States and overseas. After exiting Globerian in 2010 he became a co-founder & Director of Pacific BPO, another healthcare management company which he helped grow to over 2,500 employees. Pacific BPO was acquired in late 2018, providing another successful exit to Trehan.

The time is right.
Sure, we could continue to grow organically.
But, the Senior Living market is ripe for the taking today.
Senior Living and the broader long-term-care space is one of the largest global economic markets. Due to its nature, it has long-remained an essentially analog sector. But like so many other industries, post-COVID everything has changed and it’s found itself thrust into the digital age. Residents and their families now demand paperless transactions and holistic remote visibility – none of which the old guard is prepared to handle.
Simultaneously, the industry is being hit with a confluence of factors – new demographics are aging-into the space bringing wide divergences in senior economic stability, while inflation and wage increases are negatively impacting costs. All the while, the demand is ever-increasing for better offerings, more tech, and more transparency.
Quite simply, the world has changed and, unlike the legacy competition, we’re built for the new playing field. From day one, our software has been designed for what’s coming, not the world of yesterday. Our yiayia SaaS offering is a game-changing, income-producing means for Senior Living owners and operators to transition to the new age, while simultaneously unlocking new value from their assets.
